Heat pumps designed properly, from the heat loss up
Air source heat pumps take heat from the outside air to warm buildings and water, typically using around a third of the energy of a gas boiler. Designed and sized correctly, they cut running costs and carbon.

FAQs
Is there a grant?
Eligible homes in England and Wales can get a Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant towards an air source heat pump, applied for by the MCS-certified installer.
Will my radiators need changing?
Sometimes. Heat pumps run at lower temperatures, so some radiators may need upsizing. The heat loss survey tells us exactly which.
Do heat pumps work for commercial buildings?
Yes. Larger systems are a key way for businesses to cut Scope 1 gas emissions, often paired with solar to reduce running costs.
