ESOS compliance that produces savings, not just paperwork
The Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme requires large UK undertakings to audit their energy use every four years. We use your real data to find practical savings and keep you compliant.
- Qualification check for your group
- Energy audits and site visits
- Action plans and notifications
- Recommendations with costs and paybacks
Who has to comply
Broadly, UK undertakings with 250 or more employees, or turnover above about £44m and a balance sheet above about £38m, including group companies. We confirm whether your group qualifies.

FAQs
Is ISO 50001 an alternative to an ESOS audit?
Yes. Certified ISO 50001 coverage of your energy use is a route to compliance. Our energy management service can help you get there.
What happens if we don't comply?
The Environment Agency can issue penalties for non-compliance. Starting early avoids a rush near the deadline.
Can ESOS data be used for SECR?
Yes, much of the same consumption data supports SECR reporting, so we can deliver both together.
