Energy management that shows where your money goes
You can't manage what you can't see. We bring your meters and sub-meters into one portal, validate every bill and show you where, when and why energy is used, so waste is found and fixed quickly.
- Every meter and bill in one place
- Sub-metering by department or process
- Alerts when use is out of the ordinary
- Reports that support SECR, ESOS and ISO 50001
Three stages, built around your site
Stage 1: Visibility
Your existing half-hourly electricity, gas and water meters on the portal, with no new hardware. Every bill validated, consumption dashboards, cost tracking, a monthly report and SECR-ready data.
Stage 2: Insight
Sub-metering on your main incomers and key distribution boards using CT clamps. Cost and consumption by department, baseload and out-of-hours analysis, quarterly reviews with a consultant, and ESOS evidence.
Stage 3: Optimise
Process-level metering on major loads and production areas. Real-time alerts, energy per unit or shift, power factor and kVA demand monitoring, measurement and verification of projects, and ISO 50001 support.
Metering options
- Hardwired MID-certified meters with current transformers: accurate enough for recharging costs between departments or tenants
- Wireless clip-on CT clamps: quicker and cheaper to fit, ideal for trend analysis and finding waste
- Rogowski coils for large feeders and main incomers
- Hardware bought outright or spread over a term, so there's no large upfront cost
What monitoring typically finds
- Equipment, lighting and HVAC left running overnight and at weekends
- High baseload that nobody can explain
- Compressed air leaks and plant running when it isn't needed
- Heating and cooling fighting each other
- Agreed capacity (kVA) set higher than the site needs, and reactive power charges
FAQs
How much does energy management cost?
It's priced per meter on the portal plus a service fee for the stage you choose, with any sub-metering hardware either bought outright or spread over a term. We confirm the number of metering points with a site survey, then give you a fixed quote.
Do we need new meters?
Not for Stage 1. We use the half-hourly and smart meters you already have. Sub-meters are only added when you want to see consumption by area or process.
Will installing sub-meters disrupt the site?
Wireless CT clamps clip around existing cables. Hardwired meters need a voltage connection, which may need a short isolation, so we plan installs around your operation, out of hours where needed.
Does this help with ESOS and ISO 50001?
Yes. Metered data by area and process is strong evidence for ESOS audits, and Stage 3 is designed to support an ISO 50001 energy management system.
